    Christopher DeLair
  • Christopher is a Seattle based composer. He’s been writing for the last 20 years, and Signs of Life is his debut as a writer/composer of a major work.

    He has spent 20+ years music directing for many regional theatres and touring productions, including many productions at Seattle’s 5th Avenue theatre.

    Chris was the Associate Conductor for the national tours of Annie and The Wizard of Oz.

    Billie Wildrick
  • Billie is a multi-faceted creative professional working as an actor, singer, voiceover artist, director and professional speaker/communication coach. She has been seen on stages across the country: Broadway, Washington DC, the Twin Cities, Sacramento CA, and Sarasota FLA, as well as on her beloved home boards of Seattle. Billie has played many iconic roles such as Dot in Sunday in the Park with George, Maria in The Sound of Music, Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Margaret Johnson in Light in the Piazza and most recently, Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard.

    Her work has been celebrated with many nominations and awards. Directing credits include big musicals on big stages like Annie at The 5th Avenue and Guys and Dolls at Village Theatre, developing new works like Champagne Widow at Café Nordo and Peanutty Goodness at Theater Shmeater, and conceptual re-imagines like a mostly puppet Little Shop of Horrors at Shoreline Theater, and a gender fluid Jesus Christ Superstars at Seattle Musical Theatre and Cornish Theatre.

    Billie debuted on Broadway with Scandalous and is featured on that Original Broadway Cast Recording as well on the original cast recording of A Christmas Story. You can hear Billie’s voiceover work on video games, commercials, meditation apps and the new audio drama, Moonlight and Love Songs. She has also written and performed original work at the Seattle Fringe, SPF, Liberty Deli, Thumpers and The Studios. Billie flies around the world prepping speakers as the Coaching Lead at woman owned Ovation Communication. All for Indie and D’Artagnan.

  • Originally from Washington State, Chris now resides in New York and most recently served as the Associate Conductor of the hit Broadway musical Come From Away.

    Chris has worked extensively at Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre and Village Theatre as a musical director, conductor, and pianist. Chris holds bachelors degrees in Electrical Engineering and Sound Engineering from the University of Michigan.

    Chris can frequently be seen in concert with Tony nominee Jenn Colella as her music director and pianist. During the pandemic Chris launched the critically acclaimed online traditional music platform Tune Supply along with partner Caitlin Warbelow.

    Albert Evans
  • Albert is the long-time Dramaturg at Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre, where he has written music and/or lyrics for several mainstage productions including Yankee Doodle Dandy and Paint Your Wagon and the songs for the touring show Rosie the Riveter, music directed by Signs of Life author Chris DeLair.

    In NYC, Evans composed the off-Broadway shows Pageant, The Texas Chainsaw Musical, and Nite Club Confidential and wrote English lyrics for New York City Opera’s performing edition of The Merry Widow, broadcast on Live from Lincoln Center (PBS).

    For ten years Evans served as resident composer at New Jersey’s Paper Mill Playhouse where he wrote “soundtrack” scores for play versions of Wuthering Heights, Great Expectations, Jane Eyre, and A Tale of Two Cities as well as lyrics for Mikado Inc.

    Kevin Metzger-Timson, CSA

  • Kevin Metzger-Timson (he/him) moved to New York City in 2005 to attend New York University's Tisch School of the Arts where he earned his BFA in Drama. He is also an alum of the Musical Theatre Conservatory at the Orange County School of the Arts in Santa Ana, CA, and Interlochen Arts Camp in Interlochen, MI. A six-time Artios Award nominee, he has won twice. Kevin lives on the Upper West Side with his husband and dog, Tobias Wagg.

    Erin Coomer / Astro Lab
  • With 30+ years of musical theatre experience and education, Erin is a passionate advocate for the arts. She has a BA in Music Education and Vocal Performance and a background in songwriting and production.

    Erin has spent the past two decades supporting organizations for young people in Seattle. She served over nine years on the board of directors for YouthCare, working to advocate and end youth homelessness in Seattle and served three years on the board of directors for the Seattle chapter of Summer Search, an organization supporting high school students to become first generation college students. Erin believes strongly that community involvement is a vital part of life.

    In 2023, Erin co-founded Astro Lab for the purpose of supporting new artists and new works of art. She envisions the company growing to become a place where people from all walks of life can find and discover their voice and create impact within the broader community through art. She is thrilled to be giving a voice to the work of Christopher DeLair with Signs of Life, the premier production of Astro Lab.

    Paula Tharp
  • For 30 years, Paula has worked and played within the art world. For the last 15+ years, she has dedicated herself to arts fundraising in Seattle, including leading the philanthropy team at The 5h Avenue Theatre and overseeing corporate and foundation support at The Seattle Art Museum. She has a BA and MA in Art History and was in the PhD program at the University of Washington where her focus was Performance Art.

    Paula is a collaborative leader and relationship builder, who connects with people through a genuine love of the arts. It’s no surprise, she’s a Pisces.
